WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE
Your clinician will assess the hair and skin to make sure you are a good candidate for this treatment.
Please shave the area we are treating prior to your appointment.
Do not pluck or wax for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment as this will remove what the laser is targeting.

DURING
A topical numbing agent and/or ice packs are applied to make this treatment as comfortable as possible. 
When the treatment beings you will feel the cold tip of the laser which off sets the heat. 
Pulsing then beings on treatment area. 
Time varies depending on treatment area.
You are given goggles to wear to protect your eyes.

AFTER
Typically there is no lingering discomfort when treatment is over. 
You will be given after care instructions. 
The hairs can take 2 weeks to completely shed.

Your results will depend on your skin type and the area being treated. Hair reduction needs multiple treatments , on average 6 treatments per area. Appointments are spaced out 6-12 weeks depending on area.
Since hair grows in cycles you may need to have maintenance treatments may be necessary.

WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE
The area of treatment will be gently wiped with a cloth to remove any dirt, oil, and debris.  We do not traditionally cleanse the face before this treatment as we do not want to “preheat” the surface of the skin.

DURING
First your eyes will be covered with small goggles to protect your eyes. Then you will experience a slight heating to border line hot sensation as well as hear a fast pulsing sound.  This surprisingly relaxing treatment can be performed quickly with little to no down time.

AFTER
No downtime, you are on your way. Your skin may feel slightly warm and look a little pink.  Sun protection will be applied after treatment, and you can easily continue on with your day.
